The Spears Strong Foundation Program is your ideal first step. We’ll ease you back to fitness and show you it doesn’t have to be something dreaded or difficult, but rather something you look forward to.

The program is laid out to help create structure to your day and to take the mystery out of how and where you should be starting.

Every day, Monday through Friday, you will get 5 new, Live movement session videos to structure your day around. If the scheduled times don’t fit with yours, no worries! All videos are recorded and will be available for at least 24 hours so you can do them when it fits into your schedule.

But don’t expect that you need or should jump into the Spears Strong Foundation Program and complete every movement session every day. It’s impossible to reschedule your day and habits in one moment of time and expect success. Which means your best chance of making positive movement sessions a part of your long-term life habits and feeling good everyday is by making small, achievable steps and building upon them.

How to start

Pick one movement session video. We suggest starting with either the Morning Warm-Up or BedTime UnWind but it’s up to you. If the 6-ish Minute Workout is more doable for you, start with that.

Commit to doing your chosen movement session 3-5 times a week.

For at least the first two weeks, just watch the rest of the movement videos to get a feel for the movements and energy or vibe of each session.

Why start with Morning Warm-up or Bedtime Unwind?

Taking control over the start or end of your day by setting aside 10-20 minutes for yourself to move your body and relax your brain yields unbelievable results. Starting your day off feeling physically good, awake with a positive mindset, and moving your body will give you confidence to knock off the next challenge, and the next, and the next … Ending your day with calming movement and breathing will improve your sleep, setting you up for a successful next day.

The Foundation program is run in a private Facebook group and includes five video classes daily, Monday through Friday, led by our Spears Strong trainers. The movement routines range from 6-ish - 25 minutes and are accessible for all fitness levels.

Why is it called Foundation? Because it is the base level of what we all need to take care of ourselves. This is your “self-care.” If you don’t exercise, the Foundation Program is all you need. If you do exercise (running, cycling, playing tennis, yoga, hiking, cross-fit, etc …) you need this too. It will help you recover from your sport or workout and it will keep you from developing repetitive motion injuries.
